Located in St. Kevin’s Arcade, the staff were so friendly, and the pancakes were delicious!

There’s a ton of great shopping, and always a fun street performance to catch!
Take the ferry to Weiheke Island
Running on public transit, we took the ferry and bus to the vineyards, and enjoyed SOHO Family Vineyards, Stonyridge Vineyard, and Te Motu Vineyard
Take a tour to Matamata
Visit Hobbiton, where the Lord of the Rings was filmed. Even non-LOTR fans like me appreciated it! There’s some great tours in Matamata, as well.
Visit some small towns
Not far outside of Auckland you can see small towns, like Helensville.
Go for a hike
We rented a car for the day and went hiking near the Arataki Visitor Centre to explore the beautiful views just outside Auckland - it was truly a sight to see!
